Vincent fell into numismatics at twelve, sorting his grandfather's shoebox of franc coins. The hobby became a calling. After studying art history and archaeology, he spent over twenty years among coins — first as a cataloguer, then as a recognized expert.

For more than a decade he served as a numismatic expert at the Hôtel Drouot in Paris, appraising estates and preparing major collections for sale. He has personally identified, referenced and valued well over 200,000 coins — from Roman denarii to modern euro patterns.

He founded Nummia for a simple reason: the rigor he applied coin by coin could never scale to the tens of thousands of pieces that families inherit. By pairing his expertise with AI vision, that same rigor now reaches an entire collection in days.
